 | Kevin Johnson Kevin commenced his hospitality career as an entertainer around the south Island by creating and operating what was at the time one of Canterbury’s biggest DJ agencies. He also spent some 8yrs on stage doing A “Blues Brothers Show”, the biggest show being the Timaru sound shell on the eve of 2000, to a crowd of over 14000 people! Kevin turned his hand to Hospitality Management around that time and trained and worked to the point where his expertise in business, marketing and promotions saw him being asked to trouble shoot failing hospitality venues in the South Island. In 2005, in partnership with several others, Kevin purchased, renovated and operated a successful, Bar Café in North Canterbury. He sold out of this early 2009 and was quickly asked to work for the receivers of a large hospitality business. This role was to stabilize and implement systems into one of this hospitality group's strategic sites. Kevin has also sat on the Canterbury Board of HANZ. Kevin’s life partner Mel, who has a back ground in personal banking, relief branch management and administration, has joined him in this exciting opportunity and both Kevin and Mel look forward to meeting tourism, hospitality and leisure business owners in the Canterbury / West Coast & Top of The South Island areas to assist them in the successful listing, marketing and selling of their businesses and or properties. Kevin loves Scuba Diving, Fishing, and Family, and has also been know to play countless bad rounds of golf! |
