Testimonials

"We decided to move on from our Motel in Palmerston North, which we had leased for 10yrs. We had contact with various Agents who specialise in Buying and Selling Motels Leasehold and Freehold. The selling process can be very stressful, but we found Ross very comfortable to work with, and was constantly up-dating us on progress with interested parties. Ross found buyers, and at completion of sale both parties were happy."

Gary & Moana Watson. Asure Colonial Court Motel, Palmerston North.

"We listed our Motel with Ross and the result was excellent. He is a great communicator keeping us informed all through the selling process. Ross is very knowledgeable and knows exactly what is best to do where all involved are concerned. I highly recommend Ross and thank him very much for the smooth transition with our sale."

Kay Wilson. Cornwall Park Motel, Masterton.

"During a period when accommodation sales had been in the doldrums, we listed our business & motel lease with Ross Larsen. The result was four interested parties, three of them serious enough to proceed with offers, with the happy outcome of a sale at a very satisfactory price.  We listed our business with a total of six brokers... not one of the other five presented a potential buyer. Well done Ross! We gladly give you our highest recommendation. Your attentiveness and guidance made the sale a positive experience."

John & Melanie Colvin, Bella Vista Motel, Napier.

''This was not the first business I have sold nor will it likely be the last. However it is the first time I have had the pleasure of dealing with a true professional - Ross Larsen. Ross is quietly spoken, not an over the top salesman full of false promises and hype but rather a knowledgeable and talented broker who knows his stuff. Always the calm voice of reason, Ross is truly with you all the way working towards a positive outcome. Excellent communication helped enormously keeping the dialogue going with my overseas purchaser and once the deal was done Ross didn't disappear into the sunset chasing new business. He provided excellent check-lists and advice to aid a smooth transition. I would have no hesitation in using Ross's services again and can recommend him in the highest terms to anyone considering selling their business''

Jane Barclay. Ducks & Drakes Hotel, New Plymouth.

"We have had a fair bit to do with Ross over the past few years.  Beginning with looking for a motel. Ross was extremely easy to deal with, and very honest. We found him to be very informative and he certainly knows the motel business.  This was important to us, as we were newcomers to the industry. We found a motel we were interested in very quickly and the negotiations began.  Ross was always extremely professional throughout the negotiation period, and we soon became motel owners.  A few years on, and our goal complete, we decided to put the lease up for sale just to see what would happen.  Within a matter of weeks, Ross had interest.  Again, we managed an easy deal selling the lease but still maintaining the land and buildings. Another couple of years on, our plans changed and we put feelers out for the sale of the land and buildings.  As we had had so much success with Ross in the previous two dealings, we again approached him with our idea.  Once again, Ross sold within a matter of weeks!  We can highly recommend Ross for anyone looking at getting into or out of the tourism industry."

Karen and Gary Tomuri. Cornwall Park Motel, Masterton.

"Ross Larsen is truly a professional in the realty industry. We can only use the next few words to describe Ross: "Honesty, Integrity and Fairness." During the process of searching for a motel business in the Lower North Island of New Zealand, we were helped and guided by Ross, from the very beginning. Ross has a lot of knowledge in this industry, which is very important to keep buyers well informed when needed. He was also a great communicator during the negotiation process, between us and the vendors and landlords.  I must say for any beginners interested in this career, you cannot find a better Business Broker to help you."

"Ross Larsen is the proverbial 'honest broker'. Our experience with Ross was that he was able to gently guide our transactions towards completion in an unobtrusive but informed and sensible manner. As first time purchasers, we felt comfortable relying on his advice (which in hindsight proved good), and unreservedly recommend his services to anyone considering transferring an interest in hospitality property "

Peter & Toshiko Chalmers. Ascot Motor Lodge, Wellington.

"Tony and I are happy to recommend Ross Larsen of Tourism Properties as your business broker. Ross recently marketed and sold our business in January 2011. He was at all times professional in his business dealings with us and really went that extra mile to help put the deal together. Ross also took us through the selling process step by step to make sure all areas were covered that were required for the sale and purchase .He also saved us time and money by passing on his legal and accounting knowledge that saved us forever contacting our lawyer and accountant with questions. Ross was there on site for the changeover of the business and made sure all procedures were carried out that were required for a smooth transaction. We would like to thank Ross Larsen and absolutely recommend his services. We have recommended Ross to some colleagues and he is in the process of working with them now."

Shona & Tony Robb.

"Ross is by far the best business real estate agent I have ever known. He has incredible attention to detail, excellent follow-through, and is extremely kind and personable. Throughout the entire purchase process Ross was professional, conscientious, and motivated beyond his agent role. He even provided us with extensive business knowledge and advice for the motel industry. I would highly recommend Ross to anyone, and it was a real pleasure working with him."

Zoe Zou. Wellington Best Western Motel.
