The individual attention permits closer planting and higher than usual yields. Hilltop Wines produces some 5,000 bottles each year. The well-regarded Hilltop Wines are sold to local restaurants, over the internet and at Hilltop Events. Wine revenue potential is over $100,000 per annum.

Hilltop Wines does not yet have a Cellar Door licence but the existing garage would lend itself well to conversion to a charming wine-tasting/sales cellar.

The sale includes all the necessary equipment to operate the vineyard and full training from the vendor in the management of the vines. The wines are made at the highly regarded Mystery Creek winery, just down the road.

Below the decks is a large grassed area that is the site of Hilltop’s annual Sunset Concert. Resource Consent has been granted for attendance of up to 2,000 patrons.
