We had a one bedroom suite ( double bed and separate bedroom with two singles) with a partial sea and mountain view upstairs. It was a lovely room.
The pool area was clean and had afternoon sun.
It was a short walk into town, either through the park and down the path by St John’s church or along the street in the other direction.
It was the little things that made this accommodation special – the cleanliness, full replacement of all free coffee, tea, milk and biscuits every day, friendly and helpful staff.
There is so much to do in Kaikoura. We’d recommend the peninsular walkway, the seal colonies, visiting the seafood bbq at Amers beach which is a shallow and safe swimming spot and the whale watching. The beach at the south end of town is also safe for swimming and there are some nice cafes on the walk back into town.
Really pleased with our choice here. The unit was warm, clean & super comfy bed. It’s worth staying here just for the much needed bath. The little kitchenette area had everything we needed. Just great !
Had a lovely stay. Clean, tidy, extra towels, all amenities. Plenty of everything. Quiet room, comfy beds. Close but away from the main road of Kaikoura. Friendly staff. Would highly recommend this Motel
