My wife and I were traveling through from Te Anau to Christchurch and stayed a night at the big sky motel. the owner/ managers were very welcoming and friendly. The motel units are very modern, central, quiet and comfortable. We enjoyed our short stay and will definitely stop by again next time we are passing through.

Hank and Kaye are real salt of the earth decent and genuine people. They work hard to provide clean, comfortable and welcoming accommodation with lots of friendly conversation. The Bigsky motel is quiet, peaceful and feels safe! Great location, just a short stroll to restaurants, cafes the four square etc. We were offered bikes, fishing gear and there is an outdoor BBQ area, laundry and there is service/help whenever you need it. We had a fabulous handful of days here and can’t recommend Bigsky enough to those passing through Omarama. Thanks Hank and Kaye, we will be back, all the best.
